HISTORY
A Short History . . .
Since its inception in 1986, PWAMM has sought to fulfil the God-given vision to take God’s power and presence back to the communities of Scotland. The methods of achieving that have changed significantly over time, but the message remains constant: preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Outreach
A wide variety of outreach ministries have been raised up over the years: Challenger Buses, tent missions, outreach dinner meetings, Upper Room singers, Burning Issues Drama to name but a few. The Lord has graciously used each of them in their season.
Working With Others
Strengthening the Church of Jesus Christ in the nation has also played an integral part in PWAMM’s history. Working alongside other churches all around the nation in reaching out to their communities, we have been able to encourage many fellowships.
Prayer For Revival
Pastors, ministers & Christian leaders have also been edified through PWAMM’s ministry. The ‘Prayer for Revival’ monthly meetings have been going strong for over 20 years. There are stories of pastors on the verge of resigning being re-envisioned by attending.
God's Purposes For Scotland
The desire to see Scotland experience a mighty visitation of God’s revival power has not waned from PWAMM’s core purpose. This land has known the Reformation, gave birth to the covenanters, and has been graced with multiple revivals over the centuries. God has not changed; and He has not forsaken this nation. So we believe that PWAMM still has a part to play in God’s great purposes for Scotland.
